Patient updates

Due to the high volume of calls and patient treated at our wildlife hospital every year, we can only provide patient updates by email. It may take up to five weeks for a response. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Wildlife Haven is permitted to rehabilitate and care for injured, sick and orphaned birds, including raptors (eagles, hawks, owls, falcons); mammals, including rabbits, squirrels, bats, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, bobcats; and amphibians/reptiles (turtles, frogs, salamanders, snakes). Skunks, bears and hooved animals (deer, moose, elk) - contact your local Manitoba Sustainable Development office, as Wildlife Haven is not permitted to care for these animals.

** Wildlife Haven is not currently offering Campus Tours to the public. Please continue visiting the website for updates!

Please call our Wildlife Hotline if you're getting in touch regarding injured, orphaned or sick wildlife! Calling is the quickest way to get help and every second counts when an animal needs help!
