The best and quickest way to ensure an animal in distress gets the care it needs is to bring it directly to Wildlife Haven during our operating hours.

Wildlife Haven will only conduct rescues/pick-ups for animals that are most likely to cause injury or illness when mishandled.  **We rely on our volunteers to do pickups.

Patient updates

patientinquiries@wildlifehaven.ca

Due to the high volume of calls and patient treated at our wildlife hospital every year, we can only provide patient updates by email. It may take up to five weeks for a response. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Wildlife Haven is permitted to rehabilitate and care for injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife, We care for birds, including native song birds, water fowl, raptors (eagles, hawks, owls, falcons); mammals, including rabbits, squirrels, bats, foxes, coyotes, bobcats; and amphibians/reptiles, including turtles, frogs, salamanders, snakes.

We do not accept mice, skunks, raccoons, bears, fish, invertebrates, hooved animals (deer, moose, elk) or invasive species — please contact your local Manitoba Conservation office, if you find these species in need of care.

** Wildlife Haven does not offer Campus Tours to the public. Please continue visiting the website for updates and special events.
