Our Wildlife Ambassador are all animals that cannot be released for various reasons and are now permanene residents at Wildlife Haven. They play an integral role in our education program and help teach the community about their species and how we can peacefully co-exist with wildlife.
Each avian Ambassador needs a variety of homemade perches in their enclosure to provide comfortable and assorted spots to perch. Having various types of perches helps them grip their platforms and prevents bumblefoot, a condition that causes irritation and abrasions on the feet.
